This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

Your first sense of the sand seas of Namibia is the emptiness. You know there are large mammals living amongst the dunes, like elephants, lion, leopards and gemsbock. You wish to see them. And then, after a while you realise that the dunes are full of life! All manner of beetles, bugs and reptiles are all around living just under the surface of the sand. Moreover, the dunes themselves are alive, shifting, reshaping and marching across the landscape to the tune of the prevailing winds.
